I went to our District Ministerium a.k.a. "Pastor's Club" yesterday at Camp Conquest...
Some men don't go b/c they think it is a waste of time, irrelevant to the mission their on.
Some men go b/c they feel obligated but it is very apparent they don't want to be there.
Some men go b/c they believe they need the brotherhood, they believe that God can use them to encourage another brother in the ministry and also God can encourage them through another pastor.

I left the camp that sits up on a hill, feeling very affirmed, encouraged in the Calling and ministry God has placed on and in my life.  I believe we need others to become stronger, to defy the odds,  to overcome inspite of opposition.  I always look to have several key men I can go to for encouragement & counsel... because I believe that God works through others to show us His love & His Will.
